Hospitals

Analytics and optimisation support for hospital engineering teams.

Enerzyz is built for hospitals as well as hotels and commercial buildings. It gives your engineering team earlier, clearer insight into HVAC and central plant energy waste — your team stays in control of every change, at every step.

Enerzyz's approach carries an operating discipline shaped by hospitality — another environment where service can't be interrupted and safety is never negotiable. That same discipline shapes how we work with hospital engineering teams: operational sensitivity, engineering oversight, and reliability first.

The problem

Hospitals run critical HVAC continuously — positive-pressure ventilation in operating theatres, isolation-room pressure control, and code-mandated air-change thresholds that must never be compromised. Schedules and configurations are set up carefully at commissioning, but hospital operations change: theatre rosters shift, wards are repurposed, and a BMS configuration that was correct on day one can quietly go stale, running full ventilation in spaces that are no longer used the way they once were. That waste is very hard to see manually, and hospital engineering teams have understandably little appetite for anything that touches critical systems without absolute clarity on what changed and why.

Where Enerzyz fits

Enerzyz is an analytics and optimisation layer that works alongside your existing BMS and central plant — it is not a replacement, and it does not take autonomous control of critical hospital systems. Your BMS remains the authoritative control layer at all times, and your engineering team retains override authority over every action.

Every deployment starts read-only while a baseline is established. Enerzyz can surface where a configuration has drifted from actual use, but any resulting change to a setpoint or schedule is proposed for your team to review and approve — never applied unilaterally. Everything is logged with its justification, every action is reversible, and access can be switched off at any time.

What Enerzyz looks at

Critical-space HVAC run-time vs. schedule

Compares actual HVAC run-time in spaces such as operating theatres against the real, current operating schedule, to surface a stale BMS configuration that a schedule change was never reflected in — while holding regulatory thresholds throughout.

Central plant performance

Continuous monitoring of chiller and plant performance for the kind of abnormal draw that precedes a failure, surfaced to your engineering team early enough to plan maintenance on your terms.

This illustrates the pattern of issue Enerzyz's platform is built to detect in hospital HVAC — it is not a customer case study, and any resulting action is always reviewed and approved by your own team before anything changes.

How the commercial model works

You give us nothing to start with but access to data. We connect read-only, and you decide loop by loop whether we ever control anything. At month four there is one objective test, and if we have not delivered you can stop. After that our own fee is at risk against what we committed to.

In Year 1 there are two standard routes: a share of verified savings, or a fixed subscription. The route for your property is selected after the assessment, based on your preference, how the savings can be measured, commercial fit and the approvals it needs. Both have a one-time Month 4 exit; their payment arrangements differ. From Year 2, one fixed annual subscription applies, stated in your agreement from the start. No CAPEX, subject to assessment. The free Full Facility Assessment establishes the value on your property's own data: once we have surveyed your site and accepted the required data, we can give you an informed commercial offer for it. Commercial models are subject to change as the model develops. Only the final signed Facility Services Agreement binds and prevails.

What we ask you for

  • The facility type, the licensed bed count, the number of operating theatres and whether linen is laundered on site.
  • Whether the site is a single building or a campus, and whether several buildings share one central plant.
  • Which critical clinical areas must never lose conditioning, ventilation or pressure control, when plant can be paused, and the rules any work must respect.
  • Your electricity bills, or a consumption export, for the most recent 24 complete consecutive months, and the electricity rate per kWh. Gas, steam, diesel or chilled water bills for the last 12 months where used.
  • Whether a building management system and an energy management system are installed, how often trend data is recorded and for how long it is kept.
  • Which commercial arrangement you would prefer. Nothing here commits you to anything.

None of this has to be complete to begin. "Not sure" is a real answer, and you can submit with information still pending. Nothing we ask concerns patients: no patient names, medical records or other patient-identifiable information are ever requested.

How it starts

  1. Step 1

    Initial Qualification

A short set of non-technical questions, no more than 20, with Hospital / Healthcare already chosen. "Not sure" is a real answer.

  2. Step 2

    A Bookallil Advisor contacts you

Within 3 business days of your assessment.

  3. Step 3

    The Full Facility Assessment

No more than 50 questions on the longest route. You can save it and come back to it, upload what you have, and leave anything you cannot answer yet pending. Pending information never stops you submitting.

  4. Step 4

    A site assessment

An engineer records the plant, the metering and the controls on site, with your escort, and never enters a clinical area without one. A quotation is prepared once the applicable information has been provided and accepted.

Proof

Enerzyz's deployment evidence to date is at the InterContinental Dhaka, a hotel: a 25.8% HVAC energy reduction over three months, with zero disruption. We have not yet published a hospital-specific deployment result. The underlying capability — continuous HVAC and central-plant analysis, with all changes reviewed and approved by the customer's own engineering team — is the same capability proven at Dhaka; hospitals bring additional operational and compliance considerations that the assessment is specifically designed to surface upfront.
